The Company EUnion Energie & Umwelt GmbH was founded in 1999 in Saalfeld, Thüringen. Its purpose was to financially support and develop projects and turbines for regenerative energies.

With the takeover of the business shares from the partners of W2E Wind to Energy GmbH in 2008 the focus shifted to the three main business areas, component buying, technical and commercial operations and turn-key installation.

Thereby the segment of not only new component logistics but also spare part procurement came to be an important pillar of the company. Licensees as well as windfarm owners are able to obtain the needed parts through EUnion Energie & Umwelt GbmH.
